I offer forensic mental health evaluations for situations where mental health and the legal system intersect. These aren’t therapy sessions. This is structured, objective work that helps courts, attorneys, and decision-makers understand what’s really going on beneath the surface within an individual. .

I do not take sides. I assess, document, and provide a clear, professional opinion based on the information available.

What This Actually Means

A forensic evaluation is a deep dive into someone’s mental health, life experiences, and current functioning, specifically for legal purposes.

That may include:

• Sitting down for a structured clinical interview

• Reviewing records (medical, school, legal, etc.)

• Looking at patterns, not just isolated moments

• Writing a report that clearly explains findings in a way the court can understand

It’s about connecting the dots in a way that is honest, ethical, and grounded.

Important to Know

This is different from therapy.

• This is not a safe space to process feelings, it’s an evaluation

• There is no therapeutic relationship

• What is shared may be included in a report

• The report may be used in legal settings​
